'Diver Down' was intended to be underwater diorama which when finished would be encased in a 16" cylinder of clear acrylic resin. Unfortunately, during curing the resin developed severe thermal expansion that causing a major fault down the middle of the entire diorama, destroying it beyond repair. A salvage attempt was made to extract the airplane and divers with no luck.
